The Big Dog
He's gona show you nothing but snowflap.
ivar
From what I remember, HP is pretty close, but those 670's were strong out of the hole with a hard-hitting power band. Also the MXz is lighter and has a suspension that launches better.
In a short race I'd think he'll kill you, but a well tuned xcr600sp has good top end so you might try to race him for a longer distance...
White Lightning
I agree with ivar

He's going to beet you till about 1000 feet, then ur going to ketch him and pass him...I had my old xcr sp toped out at 113mph on still water in old forge and mine is geared down 2 teeth...So get him out on a lake were the xcr can open up.. :div20:
500sks
Sorry your fried.
xlt600
that xcrsp is one fast machine tho i cant belive that the 670 is that fast
The Big Dog
It all depends on the condition of both sleds and if they are both setup corretly. The XCR will win the the Top end Game but i'll give the slight advantge to the MXZ in 660. Traction is a big thing are both sleds studded ?
terez
If the XCR is stock it will get smoked.
They are set up quite lame from the factory.
Set up right the XCR will have a bit better top end but the MXZ670 will be all over it in short runs.
Look for long open runs and if the top end of the XCR doesn't get him the MXZ wil likely blow up anyway!!LOL!
xlt600
the xcr has a brand new track with 144 studs up the center the mxz has none

If your set up correctly I think you have a chance. Are you clutched and have all the updates for that sled? I had one and nothing would touch it in its day including my buddies piped and modded ultra. There are alot of updates and I ran the hotseat clutch kit with the black polaris primary spring and vforce reeds. I took the rear pucks out, installed heavier springs and revalved the rear shocks for better traction and a better holeshot. I can't remember what I had in the carbs but there is some updates that helped alot. The warmer the day is the worse that sled ran because of the tripple pipes, you need to keep an eye on the jetting to have it run good.
