Mid Range,

Motel des 9, is that the place we had rabbit steak?

Giterdone: There are two places owned by Chez Marineau. Motel des 9 and Motel Le Gite. We stayed at Le Gite as Motel 9 was booked. Motel 9 is the better place with more rooms and better restaurant. Le Gite was good but the restaurant was just ok. I must say however I don't think Le Gite was owned by the Marineau people. It may be better now. I have stayed at the motel des 10 in Grand Mere and that was very nice.

Motel Les Gite 1-888-323-9501

Motel des 9 1-800-567-4551

I've done that ride from St Zenon to LaTuque , great ride, enjoy . Combat

I always liked staying over at the Club Odanak on 347...its about 12 miles south of La tuque...its strictly for overnight stays...no trailering/parking...prices are reasonable. Motel 9 or Motel LE Gite in La Tuque are ok also.

Went by, but never stayed at Odanak, that place looks awesome from the outside. Huge log cabine.

Rooms at the Odanak are a bit compact...but their chef more than makes up for it. Price of the rooms include meals..also decent bar if thirsty. Place is definetly unique.

Just a thought...if leaving from St Zenon by 9:00 am... you will make La Tuque sometime after mid-day. Might want to consider reservations at Relias 22 or Lac Edouard if 355 is open. We use to go to La Tuque a number of different times back in the late 80's...early 90's.. starting in St Zenon or St Michel Des
Saints and return back for a day trip. Although the trails were different back then..it never took all that long to reach La Tuque. Just be sure to dress warm enough when heading that way.

The Ideal Motel has a peeler bar down stairs 2 minutes from Motel 9.
