Anyone have a trick to remove the set screws that won't back out? Had this same problem with an M6, tried penetrating oil, heat, and ended up taking 4 hours and breaking the weights :banghead:
Now I have 1 left in my Crossfire clutch that is giving me problems. Hex starting to twist in the head of the screw, soaked it in penetrating oil overnight. Maybe that will help :cn:

Torch, Heat Gun and I've also used a soldering iron, hold it on the set screw for a min. and it should come right out.

Heat it until you see wisps of smoke coming out , then insert hex, tap and turn....
heat is the key, it has to be HOT, I used a micro torch.
good luck

I use a propane torce, I think it needs to be 200+ degree's to loosen the loctite.

I kept using a torch in 15 second increments and it finally came, probably didn't use enough heat before.
Thanks guys! :beerchug:

The 609 green loctite used by the factory needs to be heated to 250 C, (482 F) for it to release (according to the loctite website)
Use a propane torch and heat the weight around the screw, untill it will come out pretty easily.
