id like to make it a very fast sled, every one i ride with is doing something to thier sleds, where as i still have the stock clutch ect... the only mod i have is an aftermarket tripple pipe (dyno tune if i recall) what else can be done? i dont need to go totaly crazy with it, but id still like to keep walking on my little brothers 01 ZR600 grinning-smiley-023.gif and id like to beable to beat our friends bolt on ZR800. which order should i mod? like what should i do 1st, and where is a good place to order snowmobile stuff from. if this where a car it would be so much easier for me grinning-smiley-023.gif i dont need to be spending 10's of thousands of dollars, but a couple thousand is ok grinning-smiley-023.gif
bigwedgies
damn, if a couple thousand is ok. just big bore 8 or 900. that wont cost more then around 1200. but many thing you can do, if youre alrady piped. buy some heads, good for a few hp. bore a set of carbs or find some good flatslides. send it out and just get some trail porting done. the list goes on. get yourself a set of v-force reeds. eac of these is gonna grab a couple hp. if you want a bunch of hp it costs more$$$$.

Ported Xcr 800 topend with htg pipes???? 185hp??? Your buddy with the ZR would scratchin' his head thinkin' he has a fouled plug or something because your "680" will leave him on any kind of race... as long as you can keep your mouth shut!! couple thousand should cover that and while your at it ditch the aggressive chassis..
bigwedgies
whats your beef with the aggressive chassis? just curious, obviously im a fan of the good old wedge myself.
XSKIER
bigwedgies, Yeah i got a soft spot for those too. Aggressive is a heavier chassis made in an attempt to fit 3 pipes in there easier than the wedge. And I think they missed it on the styling. Looking at it now, my last post came out a little :frech32: . Oh well maybe I should not post :burp:

Should have posted sooner. Had some billet heads and V force on mine. Sold them as I'm parting it out.

you mentioned that you made no clutch changes but changed pipes. If that is the case you probably lost performance. With your budget the HTG 180 is the way to go. Its a proven package.
