Good Luck, I've looked all over. Everyone that had one for rent, wanted about $1800 a month plus utilities. Look on VRBO.com under Lake Mitchell, (it's not under Cadillac) there are some real nice homes to rent, you may be able to work out a deal with someone

Also, get ahold of Turtleheadking, his friend in Cadillac may have a place for rent also

Let me know if you find anything, I'd be curious

thanks

Thanks for the replies. We know a lot of locals, I am just trying to leave no stone unturned.

I know a lot of locals also, but it is funny how some of them think. I offered a couple of places X amount of dollars upfront, snow or no snow, but they were holding off just in case. My point to them was you have money up front, you don't have to clean every weekend, etc. Gave them the average amount of days I would be there versus what they would get for their money. Had a guy call me back after he figured out he was coming out ahead, too late

Funny isn't it! We are still looking to see what we come up with. I don't see why they don't like the money up front, makes great sense to me. Thats how we do it too.
