JUST WONDERING WHAT A STOCK 2001 SRX 700 WILL HAVE FOR TOP END SPEED?
yamaracer423
110-120 If you stud it you'll get a true speed on good packed surfaces or ice. Rider weight is a factor too. Iam 205lbs. and I buried the needle. ylsuper.gif

In stock form my 01' srx ran 116mph on a radar gun on a plowed road(perfect conditions) . With a bender can, head work, V-force reeds and a clutch kit the SOB ran 117.9mph 4 times in a row on the same road. You decide. imo.gif

tofast4u - At 1000' radar run today saw a couple of turbo RX1's running 123-125 mph. I thought that was very impressive! Marv Jorgenson was riding one of them. ylsuper.gif

m2c.gif At a 1/2 mile lake run I had a stock 2002 SRX 700 running 127mph on the speedo.I gave a modified XCR 800 alot of trouble.

A well prepped stock SRX on good surface is good for about 114-117 radar. A few tricks to the drivetrain can get it to about 123 without much trouble.
