I was just wondering what the difference are between the two... I know that the csx has a barometer and a compass but are there any other differences?

The only other difference is the glide tools. (Glide Ratio, Glide Ratio to Destination, and Vertical Speed to Destination)
Garmin has a very good comparison tool on their website if you want to compare the 2 and maybe some others.

Aviation use. For flying / gliding....

I suppose if you miss the turn in the trail and take air they might come in handy :smilielol:
But other than that i guess they are for para jumping and the like.

I got the 60csx cause i wanted the compass and the altimeter. Other than that its really a wash.
Oh, and i mentioned missing the turn and taking air cause i did it once in Canada. Thank god for the deep snow and soft landing. It's just too easy to do up there.
