I just got back from the grass drags and was very happy with the end results. F-7,3 sleds, new mach z 2-3 sleds but he was coming fast at the end anyway I need to gain about 200-300 more rpm's, so my pipe will put out,What is the easiest way to get the rpm's? drop 1 tooth on the gearing?

Couple grams lighter flyweights.

What was your rpms? Whats your setup?
Way to go, keep those cats where they belong!!

Several ways to gain rpm
1. Lighter flyweights in your primary!
2. How old is your drive belt. Check your side clearance and see if the belt is worn on the sides and bottom. If its worn right there is your 200 rpm change with a new belt.
3. Converter cam and spring combo. Not sure what your running now
4. Gear change is not going to change engine rpm.
5. Just because you think your down 200 rpm because someone told you the pipe makes power at a certain rpm, dont always go by that.

The New Liberty series engines DO NOT LIKE to be free reved. They pull much better under load. ON a dyno it may show your peak HP at the 200 rpm more then your currently running, but that does not make it faster. You may be only talking 1-2 hp difference at that peak rpm, and if you go past it your hp goes down rapidly! Remember you have HP loss to the track so that 1-2 peak engine hp at max rpm goes down rapidly to tenths of a hp difference at the track!

On gearing you may also find that if you gear down, it will slow you down also, as it changes where the drive and driven work the belt on the clutch face and angle.
Guys always remember that the New Fusion, IQ, engine platform motors were built on a torque powerband, and these engines and clutching combo's work best when the engine is under load and not free reving. Thats why they are built for a wide power band with even torque numbers, so that clutching does not have to be spot on to run its best.

My max rpm was 7750, this is in the dirt-mud, max speed in 500' according to speedo recall was 79mph. I am running the timbersled intake slp push and torque arms, and slp pipe w/reflash and v-force reeds.I would say I gained a good couple sleds with the pipe and reeds.

well, id like to know what is the best rpm range on the fusion with the few simple bolt on parts they offer? what rpm has the most horse power on the dyno jets?

Im pretty sure this motor stock is all done at 7600 +. Pipe etc will be higher.
2F7s
I don't know what pipe you have but the SLP pipe ran best at 7750 give or take.
