This kit installs an old style "cat" twisty spring instead of the newer compression boinger. this kit is suppose to add twist pressure to the secondary sheaves instead of just a plain old squeeze.

I just put one on, seems great, just wish I had more snow to see if it works :celebrating:

I'll keep ya posted as soon as the snow flies... and as I type...IT's SNOWING!

 just in case it peters out...

There is a after market kit from Purelogic and/or RK Tech to convert the diamond drive secondary clutch
from a compression spring set-up back to the torsion spring. This guy took existing Arctic Cat secondary
clutch covers and made his own conversion. A whole lot cheaper and I would bet it works.

Seems a little Mickey Mouse though. Hope it works out though. Pretty slick if it does.

Just not sure if i'd trust that on a 1000mile trip up north though?
