some carb boots that are offset left to right or right to left and I can run the boots upside down.

I am trying to run the XCR Airbox in the XC 800 Chassis with my triple mill

The motor needs to be shifted left to get the xcr airbox to line up with the steering post.
thats no problem mocked up fairly well a 1st 2nd and 3rd time.. everything fits good repeatedly ..

but I would like to find some offset carb boots to possibly shift the carbs just a hair more right in the chassis to give me some added space for the airbox and steering post alignment.

what's out there that could work.. I have some Pro X 700/800 boots and I like them as the keep the carbs nice and vertical with No angle to the carbs.. some body mentioned that there was Pro x 600 boots or possible some other 800 boots that are offset side to side..

TIA

Roger, have you talked with Kev on that issue?

Roger, here is some pics of the 02 800 carb boots. I was wrong, they offset left, and with the angle they're at you can't run them upside down.

Thanx Trent.. I ordered 3..

new revealings today that I will share later..

Now what? You're going to leave us/me hanging like that?

After thinking about it, i'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that with the offset 800 boots, you'll be able to shift your motor over to the right and take care of the jackshaft problem without using the xcr jackshaft. Am i right?????

I was doing some measuring tonight between my xcr and my edge chassis

I found some interesting similarities and differences.. and the differences are
easily changeable.. "HOPEFULLY"

Glad my 00 XCR 800 is in the garage semi apart so I can measure
and its definatley playing a role in edge xcr mock up..

#1 steering post to edge bulkhead where the bearing sits in the bulkhead and xcr steering post to the same location on the xcr bulkhead are identical measurements the difference is the xcr has the outbound bearing housing / spacer about 3/4" wide and longer jackshaft.. ;-)

I also took note that the the motor in my xcr the pto end of the crankcase hangs over the pto bulkhead side so
does the the pto carb by a bit . ;-)

I pulled the chaincase xc jackshaft and threw in the xcr jackshaft just to see.. ..

It's close.. But don't think there is a Lewinski Stogie hanging around any where..
the bearing location and the housing are ! ! <<<< That far apart.. I need to
measure.. I am gona look and check to see if the CC/brake side is seated in the
bearing correcty tomorrow.. It's Close just no cigar yet!! Time for a
