Moved here a year ago, enjoyed the trails last winter.
Want to start a ride club for mid week nights.
Anyone interested?

There will be lots of sleds to hook up with, busy at Coldwater watering hole. Moved away from there couple years ago- watch out for King Tut. :div20:

You should have no problems finding riders around Moonstone. There's lots of them. I know that 2 of the Snow Goer Canada Test riders/writers live and ride around there. Plus, I see the Snowmobiler TV truck and trailers staging at the Moonstone PS a few times each Winter. Caron (the ad girl from Snow Goer) used to live in a house a few doors away from the store and you used to see all the new sleds coming and going. But she's moved now...Moonstone is definitely a good place to live though, you have lots of riding options and the trails are usually well maintained. Previous Poster is right...Coldwater also has tons of riders too. Did you know that X-games winner Mike Island lives in Warminster and rides Moonstone area too?

I can't remember (blond, old or stupid),- old sled parts, deep fried food, cold beer- right at Coldwater exit opposite southbound 400 access on hwy 12.

Yeah! A&K recreation is there, but now it is developed further and is called Midland Recreation, I beleive they were operating from Victoria Harbour, last year,
I have a few guys in my subdivision that ride, but wives and kids tend to slow them down!
Maybe River's downrown by the arena and gas pumps will put something on for the sledders!
Lakeman,
No, I wasn't aware about Mike Island! I think I remember hearing that he was from Barrie. Did know he lived in Warminister. Is he still racing CSRA or just WSA.
Now that you mention the Snow goer/STV trailers I remember seeing it park right on Simcoe County RD. 19.
I also remember watching the trailers get loaded up in the spring when I believe that they moved.
Where do you ride in Muskoka, I work up there, and ride Muskoka, Parry sound all the time.
Love the bridge at Port Sandfield!!!

Hubby and I live in Coldwater (5 minutes away) and we ride every chance we get.
I prefer night riding.
On weekends we ride the lake alot (during the day)
We have a son and father team that come up on weekends and have F7's.
Our group can be as small as three riders and grow as big as eleven.
If you prefer just going out with the guys, that happens too :div20:
Anyways, you're welcome to join us if you want.
There's always room for more sledding friends :beerchug:
