I ordered vforce 3 for my 02 w/flatside carbs. looking at previous posts will I need to modify the boot to fit inside the reed cage? Sounds kinda mickey mouse if I do.
Shadetree has boyeseen's for $245, maybe I should order them instead. Is one better than the other??
Thanks

actually $275. Looking on boysens website looks like the boots would have to be modified to fit with their cages also.

Yes, you need to cut the stock boots (it's easy though).

I've mostly heard that the V-Force reeds are the better performing, I use rad valves on my dirt bike, and vforce on my sleds.

V- Force is the way to go. Boysens can't hold the flow. Boots will have to be cut regardless. I use a fillet knife...Works great.
