Check MetLife. By far the best rates I have found...example:
2007 Apex full coverage..less than $150!
(yes they cover all states and no you dont need your other ins w/them)
if you can find the same coverge for cheaper I would be surprised.

Her name is Eileeen Wunder 866-330-3366
tell her Hemihead sent you :div20:

good luck !

If I am correct MetLife pulled out of VERMONT or is currently doing so ( word has it) , and when you say they cover ALL states, i assume you live in NY so you have to have your sled garaged in NY for them to write the insurance, and yes you might be able to take the sled to other states BUT still it MUST be garaged in NY. People garaging their sleds in VT normally need a VT policy :div20: my rates start at $50 dollars on up annually depending on the driving record, coverages wanted & needed, and a few other rating factors. :div20: snogirl

do you know if Met life covers people living and garaging in Massachusetts??

usually every companies web site will have an agent locator for each state they do business in, or at least a toll free number you can call and find an agent, so you can find out if Mass. has one that way :div20:

JFI an insurance agent has to be licensed in that state they live in to sell insurance, each state has different rules and regulations. I am licensed in VT & NY (i hold a NY non-resident license due to me living in VT but my office is located 2 miles from the NY state line), but again i can only write insurance for a sled, home, car etc..if the "risk" is garaged or located in either of those particular states. :cn: snogirl

Whats wrong with "Foremost Insurance" They had the best rates last year and you can go direct without an agent.....

nothing is wrong with Foremost, I have them and use them 80% of the time PLUS You get an actual licenced agent with us, and we look at other companies also to see if it is your best deal. Sometimes having an agent is'nt so bad, especially if the unfortunate happens ever :cn:

According to my agent this is incorrect. She claims Metlife is in VT and has no plans of leaving. :div20:

i confirmend it myself today and found a Met agent, they do still exsist in VT but from what the agent said, you have to have your auto or home also with them for Met to do a snowmobile policy, again you & your agent are located in the state of NY so rules, laws and prices can vary alot then here in VT, where we are. :div20: Thank you! YES, as long as you have a garaging address here, and keep it in VT mostly & if so, call the girls between 9-5 M-F, they will give you a quote no problem :div20:
thanks for asking! Amy

What's the damage for that Crossfire?
F6 SFD
I pay like $325/year for full coverage on my '06 F6. It's on my own homeowner's (renter's) policy, and I'm 20 years old. I didn't think that was too bad. My dealer said a lot of guys are paying twice as much...but that's usually because they're on something bigger than 600cc's and can't put their sled on their homeowner's.

2007 xfire 800 sno pro 25/50/10 with fire & theft, and 500.00 deductable cost $433.00, listed as me as a driver

2004 F-7 sno pro 25/50/10 with fire & theft and 500.00 deductable cost $310.00, listed my 19 year old son as a driver

2000 ZR-600 sno pro 25/50/10 cost $107.00 listed my 17 year old son as a driver.

Total Insurance 850.00
Club dues total's 60.00
Vast TMA'S 195.00
Grand total $1,105.00

I have to laugh cause I have a fairly decent 2001 ZR-800 LE and 1995 ZR-440 sno pro sitting in my garage. Imagine registering them all....
