should you ever get condensation ,moisture in the bottom of those loops, and freezes
or if fuel backed up into the hose, from say a needle had something under it or from being on its side.
itll go lean,

havent looked at instructions for a while ,but im sure it says to keep the lines so theyll drain for that reason

EDIT: im sure you did that to use up the hose, i ran the first 2-3 years with about 10-12 inches of hose only, without troubles,
because all that extra hose was a pain to route

So how would you propose looping 24" of hose so they'll drain, while not coming into contact with any hot engine parts! Hoses are a good eight inches above float bowl vents.....

read my edit:
i know for a fact you dont need 24"
when i first installed mine the instruction said 18". i found that a lot so i went with 10-12 dont recall.

but i do know as i said, you get a restriction in the bottom of those loops, she,ll run REAL GOOD for a LITTLE while.

Hey, it looks like a nice install, go for it.
