What size studs do you recommend on a 1 1/4" lug track???Also do I use steel back plates on some or all the studs. I think you have to use studs to get all those ponies to hook up. No sense in having a big gun if you only going to spin. m2c.gif

All studs need backers and try to find alum. backers.... a lot lighter and they do the job well. :div20:

use aluminum backers on all of the studs and i would go with a 1.5 or something around 1.65

I thought you wanted .125 up to .1875" of penetration for the studs? So wouldn't the max stud height for a 1.25" track be between 1.375 and 1.4375??
