some were rockets, some were toads!!
Track tension nees to be adressed, and I would also look for a broken oil cable, engine movement, and clutching.
Is the gearing stock? what are the Max rpm's at this speed?

I had an EPI clutch kit installed last year, new motor mounts, SLP torque and push arms, clutches aligned, 144 picks and glare ice with a dusting of snow. Ran a best of 108 mph. These were good conditions cause I ran my kids F5 the same day, 103 mph.

Belt deflection is very important. If it's 2 tight the clutches won't shift out all the way. Mine runs 112 on gps bone stock besides 144 picks down the center. :div20:

here is the Helix I am trying this season I have heard excellent reviews on this set-up for both mountain guys and us "Flat-Landers"
1'st track) 66-44-42-ER.46
2'nd track 70-46-42 ER.46
Blk/red spring,
leave the primary alone!!
Will help belt blowing and keep the clutches from getting too hot. The angles seem steep compared the the poo clutching we are all used to, but you got to remember that the Helix Radius is huge on these Team units.
I have heard that belt blowing is mostly caused by the cltutches fighting each other, and these different angles will get it in sync way better than factory.
All this info is compliments of "IndyDan" over on Snowest. If you have 3 hours to kill go read the thread in the archived messages it is titled "Polaris must be on crack"
Go to "advanced search" look for author "IndyDan" in the "Performance/Modified" section. very informative!!

Where did you get this helix?
Where did I come up with the numbers? Or where do you physically get the helix?
You can order directly through your dealer, go over to the "TEAM" website and they have all the available helix's listed
Head over to Snowest and search for the archived forum, Plan on 3-hours of reading to cover the entire thread. Youl will learn more on that one (3-part) thread than if you read Olav Aaens clutching book 17 times!
