As anyone istalled the SLP Torque Arm on an 06 700 or 900 yet? If so, has it helped the belt life? Reason why I'm asking is, I'm having my dealer install one on my Fusion 700 and I just want to make sure I made the right decision....... I've heard mixed reviews!!!!

I'm going to try and find one at the Novi show next week, I can't see it hurting anything.

I just put em' on mine and I was told that it is one of the best things to add on these sleds, and the airbox. I haven't got to ride it yet but I know a few that have them and they said it is worth every penny.

I have using both stops from SLP on my 05 Fuse, and a thimberlake style intake.. Didnt have to change belt in those following 800 km, :div20:
(Atfer 800 km. i crashed it really bad, but those SLP stops worked great until that :celebrating: ...)

My dealer has been installing both the SLP torque arm and stop along with reinstalling the softer (OEM) engine mounts with great improvement in belt life and significant reduction in engine vibration transfer to the chassis and handlebars.

I put one on late last year and couldnt really see a difference but my buddy instaled one on his 2006 fusion 600 and it gave him consistent rpm's.
The best bang for your buck would be a SLP pipe & can combo , My buddy had the can and pipe with the slp torque arm and clutching done and it made a huge difference on his 600. Before the upgrades i could blow him away with my Rev 600 ho sdi and after the upgrades he was at least 3 to 4 sled lenths ahead. Also he got more out of a tank of gas but top speed was still at 95 mph not as fast as his 2002 xc 600.

I have a Fusion 700 w/factory ordered electric start. Is there a different SLP or other brand torque stop that I would need due to clearance of the starter? I do want to get the upgrade but I thought I read somewhere on here the e.s. sleds need a differnt part #?
Thanks for any info.

I installed the SLP torque arms on my sled before I even rode it last season. I still went thru 2 belts in 433 miles. I then installed the EPI clutch kit and got 1000+ miles per belt. WTF?

because the stock pri setup sucks for belt grip epi kit has more belt grip.
