I know this is kind of a pointless topic, but I just feel the need to say something. Well this week was spent fixing my chaincase and putting on my new slp exhaust. I just took a rip around the yard (which is about 500'x1000') for the first time today since finishing up this seasons mods. All I can say is holy cow. This pipe rocks. The fit is a little tight but I can definately see a difference. The sled pulls like a freight train. It literally yankes my arms off. I am extreamely impressed and recommend it to anyone who owns a 700 and wants a mod that they can feel a difference aftrwards.

not to burst your bubble, but remember, you're on grass, sled hook real hard on grass, so take it with a grain of salt... wait til ya get in the snow and get the clutching dialed in... then you'll know how hard it really pulls... getting the sled clutched right is KEY to making it pull proper...

example, i sat and watched Greg Goodwin put a dynoport pipe on a 2002 mxz6 (my brothers sled) with no other changes and the sled made zero extra power at the track, once he got done with the clutching work the sled had an extra 6 TRACK hp, which is about 12 at the crank... clutching is CRITICAL to performance... if you are spinning the wrong rpm it won't pull like it should, which is why most people are disappointed with results when they put a pipe on...

Ya. In fact, the first rip of the season on the sled ANYTIME is almost like an orgasm :P It just feels so good lol.

well I think the clutch is pretty much dialed in. Im just waiting on so 66 gram weights to lower the top rpms a tad. Out of all the other mods done to the sled never seemed to make that big of a difference. The pipe is quite noticeable on the other hand. Even with reeds, head, air box, clutching gearing, etc., none seemed to make this much of an improvement. But I do understand what you mean bonz.
