I don't want to sound like an ass but who ever has that sled would have parted it out as soon as they saw the posters and if not it was chopped when the police came looking. It's good to see you got the bike back but you won't be getting the sled back.
Sleds are way too easy to jack. For the extra insurance cost of $200- $300 a year it's not worth the risk. The sled was only 3 years old, Auto Pac would have paid out more then it could have been sold for. I insure my sled and my dad doesn't. It's funny watching him chain it up to a tree and pull the coil wire every time we go for a ride. My sits out side with the key in it he sits inside with the look of terror on his face. $300 a year is a good price to be able to sleep at night.
