HI, LOOKING FOR A CLUTCH SET UP TO BRING MY RPM'S DOWN , I HAVE A 02 ZR800 EFI, IT TURNS 8000 WITH THE STOCK SET UP , I HAVE CHANGED STOCK WEIGHTS FROM 70.5 TO 72. 0 THAT CHANGED IT TO 7800 BUT ALSO LOWERED MY ENGAGEMENT DOWN TO 3500 IF I ADD MORE WEIGHT I THINK I NEED A DIFFERENT SPRING? I HAVE A SET OF 76 WEIGHTS IS THERE A SPRING FOR THAT WEIGHT OR SHOULD I TRY TO GRIND THEM DOWN TO 74?
THANKS . DAVE

Check the rollers in your drive clutch. Make sure your clutch is clean and the belt good. If they are alright send your tach out to be checked. If you want a little more enguagement you can put a couple spacers under the spring or sand down a flat spot on the weight just off the heel. Most of the clutch kits use heavy weights but they have a helix to off set them

WHAT HOLE IS YOUR SECONDARY SPRING IN ? PUT THE STOCK
WEIGHTS BACK IN AND LOWER THE HOLE POSITION (COUNTER CLOCKWISE)
THIS WILL REDUCE YOUR RPM AT WOT. uzi.gif
