i have a 2005 z best sled i have ever owned im a big guy 6,2 250 lbs. rides much better than a rev imo. i did have to go with the 6 inch carbide though to make it handle i have the 1 inch lugs i wish it had the 1.25 fuel economy is excellent. gets about the same as my wifes 500ss 15 to 17 mpg. this sled will hurt your knees on a long ride however but i will take that for the power it has very smooth machine. hope this helps you. p.s. forgot to say your going to want at least 168 studs anything less you will never hook up with a 1 inch lug track all it wants to do is spin.

I have also owned a rev and now have the 2005 mach z. i am 6ft, 260lbs and i love the way the mach corners and the power is purely awesome. in my opinion, it is not near as good in the rough stuff ( maybe the "x" is better, i do not know ). the rev is way better for the sit/stand transition if you are into jumping and ditchbanging. tha machs power will make you smile each time you pull the trigger, at any speed. my fuel mileage was compareable to an 05 rx1 but my raves were out of adjustment when we tested so i hope i will be better this year. i find the mach better than the rev in every way until its gets rough then i wish i had my rev back. my 2 cents.
i forgot, i have 1 1/4 ripsaw with 192 studs and it grips awesome. i have seen 115mph but i was overreving and ran out of room at the end of last year so i think 120mph no problem with clutching.

Which studs are you using with the 1" track? Just curious.

I use gold diggers too. I was just wondering what everyone else was using. I put some cheap studs on one year, what a mistake! :banghead:

The mach you wont be able to throw around in the tight twisties like the rev however it's probably the best handeling muscle sled. Think you will like it where your tall because you sit back on it more then the rev and the power is incredible. As for fuel milage my dads 06 gets just about the same as my 600 sdi its never usually more then a dollar or two more then my 600.

We have only put 144 studs in our 06 Mach and it takes a good working sled to beat it out of the hole, we also have the blocks out in the back. Not always how many studs you have but what patter you have

You need to put 1.325-1.375 length studs in the 1' track with the short tall aluminum nuts. You will not believe the hook-up and is durable.

If you are not getting off a rev chasis, the mach z will be the handling sled you have ever rode. It turns great, not as light or agile as an 800 rev although the torque and horsepower well make up for that. If your knees didn't bother you on a rev they sure won't on the the big mach daddy!! the rear suspension is clearly not as good as the rev.once again the power clearly makes up for all of its short falls. Pounding the hell out of the sled (after break in)fuel economy sucks during break in. the sled goes a hundred miles to a tank,120 driving normal. The savings does not stop there, it burns no oil. My thoughts are for me its the best sled on ther snow until they make 1000sdi rev weighing in under 480lbs. hope my opinion helps
