Red Rocket
Guys:

I am about to join the Pro X club!! :beerchug:

I will be picking up a 2004 Pro X2 600 on Saturday.

I am sure I will have many questions - but here is the first.

The stock jetting was 440 according to the Parts Manual. The sled apparently has 410s in it now.

I ride at 1000 feet elevation.

So - what MJ do I need to be safe down to -10-15 F??

Are the 410s safe or are they a little tight?

Also - what is the stock needle clip position? (counting from top or bottom?)

Thanks!

420 mains and needles #2 from the top. 410s get a bit lean when at -10, IMO. When clutched hard, the motor likes fuel up top.

i would have to say the same. 420's are great but on a mild day the 410's will be fine. i would put 420's in and just leave it alone.

Thanks for the help guys!
