I love my 4 strokes but had the most fun with my 01' SRX. Whether it was a 500 foot blast in the grass or a 118mph blast down the lake(radar) it was fun. How bout you?

probly a 73 massy ski whiz (my first sled ) or a 93 wiled cat 700 lots of good times of getting stuck with that big old boat but when you wanted to go fast it sure would!!!

Tough question!
I gotta say my '80 'el tigre balanced and ported was alot of fun beating up on the new big c.c. sleds in the early 90's. That thing hooked up well on the ice with the carbide wedge studs and would take even the Mach 780's for 800-1000ft. Top speed on radar was 106 mph.
For trail riding though I'll take the F7 anyday.

I'd have to say my Firecat has been the most fun I've had on a sled, it's super fast, nimble in the twisties, and light in the powder.

87 exciter. It hauled ass. I ran with guys from Tweed that had hopped up RXL's (showin my age here) and it'd keep up. (found out it was ported by previous owner) put 15K km on it, 1 burn down(my fault). Hard on my back and kidneys tho. I beat the snot outta that thing.

1990 Indy Trail. I beat the crap out of that machine. It was always pinned, even for up to 11 miles straight across certain lakes. You couldn't kill it and you could really throw it into a corner.

The best so far was my first sled, '97 ZR 440. Clicker shocks, dial adjust, and clutched and geared to do 75 mph. Not a straight trail sled, but catch it if you can in the tight and twisties. I used to make all the guys in the group (Cats, Doos, and Polaris') pissed off at the little 440 that showed up their newer, higher hp sleds. (until about 60 mph when they would go by me, haha)

I'd have to say my first ride, 72 Yamaha 338gp. Paid for by yard work at the age of 10 man I loved that sled, went everywhere the big sleds went .............sometimes even faster.
Rode it till I was 13 then stepped up to a Yamaha SS440, The little white bullet was passed on to my cousin then on to her little brother. After them 2 it took a 7 year nap in the back of my uncles cottage shed.
Afterits 7 year nap it went full circle back to my son for his first ride. He spent his first 4 riding years on it once he turned 12 and was licensed I graduated him to a 94 Safari.
The little white bullet still in great condition and running strong went to my neighbors son for his first 2 seasons, now this season he's graduated to a 94 Safari. And the little white bullet has been passed on to a mutual friend of ours for his youngest to learn on.
What a legacy sled ............. first generation Yami oil injection always worked flawlesly, never had to open the motor up, one track replacement in the early 80s and a few sets of round bar in the 70s & 80s upgraded to carbides in the 90s. Mind you it was never a high miler just a boot around close to the house or cottage ride for just about every one whos had it. I do wish it would of had a speedo/odomiter just so I could see how many miles that thing has run
Alot of people cursed me for passing it on to my neighbor after my lad was done with it, but I get a kick out of seeing it passed on to new sledders every few years :div20:

God staory Nutter.
Mine would be the first sled a 69 ski whiz 300 heavy no reverse and i was turned loose at 5 years old with a block taped to the throttle to limet the speed. I soon discovered where my dad kept the electrical tape and had her wot with no helmet, No laws back then what a great memory.

I would have to say my 72 Olympic 340 twin. Was the first sled that I owned, bought it for $150. Tore it down and fixed her all up. Electric start, high and low beam, cigarette lighter, back rest and passenger grab handle.....sweet. Beat the crap out of it, hit a tree limp it home and weld her back up. Still have it and she still runs!

I had a 197? Moto Ski Ultrasonic. It went like snot - Clutch engaged at 6,000 RPM and revved 9,000. I believe it was a 464 c.c. with twin 44 Mikunis and twin pipes. With the leaf springs on the front she was all you could do to hang onto it at 90 MPH when you hit a bump!
2003 ZR9 - most fun you can have with your clothes on!

97 ZR 440-that thing was a blast to ride. The powerband was nuts, you push the throttle a little(nothing).....push it a little more(nothing).....give it a little more and then all of the sudden WHAM!!! the thing just took off like a shot.Fun trail sled!
