Anybody here from Peace River? My son is planning to head out there from Ontario for a new job. He found it on the internet. Has most of the details worked out including accomadations. I would like to have some info from someone familiar with the area for feel good reasons if non other. Such as: How busy is it, will he have work all winter? Is there anything to do in his spare time, or will he get bored & be back home in a month? Thanks

Right now work is slow for everyone cuz its been raining alot but it should pick up once things start to freeze probably Nov or dec. Winter is the busyiest time here so there should be alot of work all winter. Spring is real slow though.

Not alot to do right now on days off in the city other than drinking, But if he likes the outdoors theres good hunting and fishing right now, and alot of motor sports all year.
