There are so many different kinds, all saying they meet different specs....ISO L-EGD , JASO FC oil, TCW3.....I just want something that will work well in my sled. Its a 550 Liquid Cooled. I mentioned to my wife that I needed to go buy some oil and she came home with some Motomaster Premium Oil from Canadian Tire as a surprise. Will work well or should I be returning it? dunno.gif

Thanks!

I think all oil marked TCW3 will work fine in your snowmobile? somebody correct me if i'm wrong dunno.gif

Any snowmobile injection system oil should be just fine. The 550 has no exhaust valves to worry about, so the fancy synthetics are not necessary, but they will smell better and smoke less as well as cost more. Lately I have been buying my oil at Canadian Tire, but I am using Shell Advance.

i agree with above post as long as it says for injection or premix some only say 50/1 premix that is for premix only (dirtbikes and older outboards and pre injection sledds) imo.gif
