Hope someone can help out with this completely inept fool with tools! Was preppin' my sled for the new riding season, and realized I forget to unhook the battery for the summer.....doh.....and low and behold, no charge left in sled. I had purchased a new battery for my riding lawn mower, which I ended up not using, so was just going to slip in the new one on the sled. But much to my chagrin, I became completly at a loss as to how to access the battery, which appears to be hidden underneath the steering components....after a few cuss words...and a couple or 10 beers trying to rationalize how to get at the darn thing....I surrendered....and now I'm posting on this most excellent Forum which I luckily stumbled across.

Thanks a million for any help someone might be able to send my way!!

Pull the air box off (2 bolts on each side, lower back coners) Clutch side is easy, gear case a little harder.

Once the airbox is off, it is pretty straight forward from there.

Thanks you for the speedy reply... will take a look tomorrow at the airbox tomorrow when the suns up.

Cheers!
