Can someone tell how many bolts they have holding on their chaincase cover? On parts land it says only 5 are needed but then their is spots for two other bolts. I think I may have lost some when I was trailering the sled to my buddies house yesterday to fix the chaincase. If someone knows how many are needed of the top of their head because I'm going to the dealer and if I need them I will order today.

There are only 5.

There may be a couple additional holes in the case that are used for pin alignment.

I thought the same thing last year when I had mine apart. I was puting it back together and thought I had lost two screws. It turns out that two of the holes are not threaded and I think are used for alignment as stated.

Yes, they're used for alignment.
