I'm interested in retro fitting one of these units to another machine but they are much pricier ($500-$600)than the helmet radios do they work well? The technology (after researching) seems to be far superior in the radio department. At what range do you have difficulty with them and would you wish to add this feature to another sled that you buy if it did not come with it? Have any of you owned or had experience with the helemet communicators and how did they compare?
