Hey guys. Just moved to Red Deer about 2 months back, and I'm thinkin about picking up a sled again. I'm wondering where there is to ride around here. I'm not into trails, but ditch and powder riding is great. What are some good riding areas in the mountains to hit up too? I've never rode sleds in the mountains, but I'm only bout 2 hours away now. All I know of is ski-hills that I've boarded at, on my trips from Manitoba. Anyways thanks for the help.

Yeah, same here, looking for some good areas, since im going to school in Calgary. I've been to Revelstoke twice, but unfortinately its about 5hrs from Calgary. I bet there is some good riding in Rocky Mountain House, but havent been there yet.

Rocky Mountain house and Nordegg both have good riding. I've never rode there but heard good things about it. Maybe check and see if Red Deer has a snowmobile club. I think they would.

When you get a sled let me know, I'll point you in the right direction :beerchug:

good to see anouther sled head. Ilive just out side of red deer and we do a lot of night riding and ditch banging. PM Me you are welcome to ride with us any time.

Ive rode around rockey and nordeg.Your looking at trails and ungroomed cutlines mostley. Golden bc is closest.
