Well today I spent th fixin what I could with the chaincase which worked out perfect because I was able to a 90* drill bit in where my lower sprocket bolt snapped (which then only took 5 min. to easy out it). So then I did a mock fitting to see what the pipe fit like. Boy does this thing fit tight. It looks to me like it is a little too tight for comfort. it is really close to the coolant line, maybe a half inch or less away. Igt is also about a quarter to eighth inch from the strut bar. Why is the pipe so close there is atleast 6 inches to a foot of room in the front of the belly pan and another 4 to 6 inches of room to side of the belly pan. what I wanted to ask was how many washers did you guys end up using on the bumpstop thing that holds the exhaust up? And finally did yours fit this tight?

yep thats how mine was. you can ziptie the coolent line back if you wanted, but when you run it, you will see everything is fine. the pipe can be smoking hot and you need to touch the pipe to feel its temp. you can hold your hand less then an 1/8 away hot and hardly tell its warm, thank the ceramic coating for that. its fine. if your still worried, put some heat tape on the line

i re-routed the line feeding the coolant bottle to the clutch side of the steering post. That kept everything far enough away. Mine is a 2004 with over the engine steering post.
Yeah, SLP makes a funny shaped pipe. You have to make sure to use lots of heat reflecting tape and trim the hood. I was going to remove a brace to reduce the height but ended up just raising the rubber bumper with washers to support the pipe. Sure hope the performance will be worth all the install crap.

Yrah it's tight.
If it wasn't a ceramic coated pipe I think it burn the shit out of things.
I zip tied the coolant bottle and line back some and wrapped anything close to it with heat tape.
I used several thick "farm" washers under the pipe rubber mount to get the height right.
I also had the flange around the inlet to the can wear and crack. I shimmed the pipe a little less and no more probs.
The pipe is worth the install hassle though IMO.
