Full Version: Heated shield (where to plug in)

I just purchased a heated shield for an Arctic Cat TXI helment.

The sled I ride is an 02 ZR500.

I am assuming I can simply plug in to the "free" terminal tucked in beneath the handle bar riser? Or, do I have to splice some wires?

Thanks in advance, John

Should be something free under handle bar riser/plastic.

:div20: There was a free outlet by the headlight in my 02 ZR 600 and it works fine.

This is just a fair set up. You have the cord coming out from under the hood. You have to watch everytime you lift the hood for oil etc. :banghead: I did this for a year then changed to the line in the handle bars.
