I just put in a set of 50-20 hammertimes in my ZR 800 CC, I have a D&D single pipe, v-force reeds, and airbox cover with the shelf removed. I set the weights up has shown in the instructions, but I added 3 grams to the tip, the paper with the weights shows no weight on the tip. I am using the recommended spring the yellow from the kit. I ran the sled in the snow it works good at first but seems like it will not fully shift out. I put it on a stand, ran it with the hood open and the primary engages nices then only shifts about halfway. I watched the tach and speedo, everything is normal until 55mph then the tach over revs like it run out of gear. Any suggestions on what to do please let me know.

dumb ? why did ya put weight in tip if it says no wieght? wieght in tip will pull r's down
BobCat
As wise1 says. tip weight will pull the Rs down. Start with the recommendations. Sorry to say, just because you have those mods does not mean they are actually working.

Forget about trying to tune clutching with the sled on the stand, you test runs down the lake (field, road??) to get results.

One more thing, there is a recall some applications. The H/Ts won't fully shift out due to possible interference with the clutch. Not sure of the details.

hey Steve, yea, Randy is NOT a very good guy . his customer service (him) sucks. was that for the cat set-up? or all hammertime kits. I have not heard of this yet

Thanks for the replies, I found out the weights I got are from early production. I have to cut my clutch by about .06", to get the weights enough clearence to fully shift. Or send them back to be replaced, I am opting to cut my clutch. It will not take long to fix the problem. Thanks again.
