Hello all,
There is a snowmobile swap meet and vintage sled show near New Lothrop, MI, norht west of Flint. I 100% recommend any old sled nut in or near lower Michigan attend this event! It has grown every year. This thing has gotten huge.
I posted about this in the Michigan forum already. I will post it here, too.
Here is a web site with info:
A-1 show and swap I will be there with some combination of Skiroules and Speedways.
I hope to see you there.

How was the show and swap this year? I made it to A-1 the last 3 years, but missed it this year. I had family come into town for my sons 3rd birthday. Whats funny is the first time I went My son was only a few days old and I still went. The wife said I could Honest. Mainly because I was cleaning out the garage and sold a lot of parts at the swap. Cha ching $$$

Whats the deal with all of the skiroules here??? I had a couple of them back in the day. I had the 73 rtx 440 with the sacs motor. It was a cool sled for its day. I think it is the best machine to bust drifts. Ahh good memories.

Sabrecat700, there were several Skiroules for sale and a few more shown. None of them were mine, though. I ended up only bringing one sled in a truck. The Speedway triple near the registration tent was mine. I was suprised to see several Speedways there, too. All for sale. There was a 295, a 340 fan and a 440, plus many parts for them. You are right about the RTX being an excedingly good drift sled. I did just about buy the RT 440 that was for sale there. The price was right, and it was a worthy project. I just have too many projects already. There was a huge '73 Skiroule dealer poster laminated on to a board for sale, too. It was the one with the babe in a bakini on the seat. I wanted it, but not enough to pay what the owner was asking.
fixitguy74, you missed out. The event has gotten better every year, including this one. When I got there at 10.00 on Saturday, there were parts and sleds being carried off everywhere. More stuff was moving the whole time I was walking the grounds, which took me a couple of hours to cover. I hope you make it next year.

I was there. It was a great meet. I sold most of what I took, but had to just about give it away to do it.
Did you get over to the Budwieser/Yamaha blown V8 dragster when they fired it up?? Damn was that thing loud.

The pictures aren't mine, but the photographer had the link to his alblum posted on another message board. The event was great. The Bud Snow King was awsome. Yeh, I heard it. How could you not have?
