PRS 1987 Formula PLus with a 92 Mach I motor and a M-10 and a F-8 kit up front. It has over 37,000 mil;es on it right now and I will retire it after I reach my goal of 50,000 miles then I will be on a new REV 800 HO. I can say this you sure turn alot of heads when you pull up some where on an antique like that. The sled has been very reliable and only had to rebuild the motor twice so far. I also have a FAST Fat boy pipe and can-can aftermuffler on it with an EGT and K-N's and a bunch of goodies inside the motor as well, ie: ceramic coated pistons and a mod rotary valve and some porting. On a dyno it is putting out 135 HP , not bad for an old 617cc

Went from a 99 S2000 to a new ZX 03 leftover. Only got 150 mi at the end of March but could tell a world of difference from the 8,500 mi I logged on the S2000. I am surely excited about this riding season on the ZX chassis.

I would have gone Rev, probably the GSX Limited, but the price savings was too good to pass up. Plus my buddy got a GSX Ltd that I'm sure to get some quality seat time on this season.

zx 2002 mxz800x More mods that you can count! When she doesn't eat plugs shes a screamer!!!!! My bro drives a zr 900 and its suspension is better for a trail rider. but we are even in a race no other sled has came close not even a F7.

HINT: stay away from Pianos! uzi.gif RX1TON !!POS!!

F7 riders claim they can "beat the REV 800". what F7 riders dont understand is that there are a couple different types of REVs out there. there is the REV Trail version (of course cats "High Performance" sled is going to beat that. but then there is the Adrenaline REV. you may think you can run with it kitty cats, but the fact is...you cant. the magazines put the REV adrenaline "2nd fastest across the lake a length behind the ZR900". sorry to burst your bubble. no sled compares to the REV. PERIOD.
leafspring
02' mxz800x, 144, 2in paddle, mbrp race can, for mountain trips. 97' mxz 670 clutched, twin pipes, 1.65 lug track, K&Ns, head work, bored carbs, spanked the 800 every time when it was a short. will spank any f7.

I got off the 1991 440 Polaris Indy Trail onto my 2003 600HO REV Sport, and wonder how I ever rode a sled before? No pains, just miles gained! No engine or suspension mods, just adjustments to the great sled Ski Doo built. Will be getting a new track sometime soon, hell, maybe just another sled! But then, I'm not a racer, I'm an enjoyer. I enjoy cruising the winding, hilly trails of Northern MN at 40 and 50 mph while watching the the F7 try to stay ahead of me as he bounced from tree to tree, just this last weekend.

Still enjoy running around on the first sled I rode, the 69 Colt.

At present, I have 2 Revs and 1 ZX. In the past year or two, I have read the posts by new REV owners saying they would never go back to anything else, and I just assumed that they were a bunch of kids who wanted to brag and see their names in print. Well,.... I guess I would go back if I had to, but I do not want to. I have been on every variation of the skidoo platform since the PRS, and I have never experienced such a radical change. And it is so much more than just a change, it is a whole new religion. I would initially compare it to the first IFS, once that came out on the market, leaf spring suspension disappeared very quickly, but even this advancement dulls in comparasion. I know that the Cat faithful will resist the positive buzz, but try not to become too opinionated, because you are going to eat your words sooner or later when the other manufacturers bite the bullet and change over. I don't drive my ZX myself, I loan it to a buddy from time to time, and when I loaded it up in my driveway last week, I couldn't believe the difference! Going from a conventional chassis to the REV is a natural progression, so the change is quite welcomed. But going BACK, well, it is a bit of an eye opener.
I'm not saying I would never ride another brand, but they will have to step up for me to do so. Right now, what they are offering is not good enough for me.

On an 01 ZX right now, very pleased with the handling. Started on elan, then PRS 88 MX, then S2000 96 MXZ 583, then 01 MXZX 600. MXZ 500SS will come as soon as possible.
