Can anybody tell me what the best way to get my rewind housing off. I really didn't take a really good look at it yet but it looks like a plate is riveted and welded on the ends. I was wondering if I have to loosen up the motor to move it over enouph so I can get a wrench in there and pull the housing out.

Take primary clutch off, loosen motor mount bolts, tip recoil side of engine up and go to work. That's the only way to do it.
