Saw my first snow today driving up I-79 to Erie,

actually snowing like hell between Meadville and Mckean and borderline rideable (3") for about 30 minutes in Edinboro. Too bad it was all gone an hour later.

It's a start.

Went to seven springs yesterday and the slopes had a coating on them and there were a few places where there was enought to make some snowballs!

Just need some cold temps to freeze the ground. Will probably be gone in a day or two ...

How much did you get? My brother goes to PennState Behrend, he said there was close to 6 inches. Any truth to that?

You get that sled sold yet?

XCR - yep it's true. Nothing this morning (green grass). Just came in from scootin around the roads on the 440. 6-8 inches even on the unplowed roads. It's real wet and heavy though.

Guess that anwsers your second question ... sled is still for sale.

... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM EST
this afternoon...

A lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM EST this
afternoon.

The lake effect snow will continue to be light initially this
morning. Less than an inch of snow is expected through morning
rush hour. However... a weak upper level disturbance will move over
the area later this morning into this afternoon causing the lake
effect snow to once again increase. Another 2 to locally 4 inches
of snow is possible today mainly inland of Interstate 90. Near the
Lake Shore... 1 to locally 3 inches of snow can be expected today.
The snow is expected to diminish this evening... although up to an
additional 2 inches is possible overnight tonight.
