So I am debating on getting billet wheels in the back. Can i just buy two wheels that are the same size and bolt them on, or should I get the 8" kit? I know just getting wheels would be cheaper, but should i just get the whole kit? Anybody have pics of these on there sleds?

What big wheel kit are you refering too an offset axle kit?

the offset axle kit is more geard towards 121" suspension to allow for
inner wheel and scissor clearence.. in this case the 8" wheels are only run on the outside of the the shaft. and smaller 5 / 6" wheels on the inside..

I went with mountaiine machine extensions that are machined for big wheels.. Tracks USA Stopped supplying extensions for big wheels due to some issues with over tight tracks and no adjustability..

Since you got a 136" suspension.. you can try and use an 8" wheel.

are you going to run 4 or 3 wheels??

I went with 8" wheels from Avid

I would probably just do 3 without rubber cause i am not running studs. Do you think that since I have a 136" track that I can just put the wheels on, and not get a new axle or do I need the new axle?

It's more of the rails than the track.. I know on my Mountain Machine Rail Extensions.. the axle slot height is a positioned a bit higher than the factory axle slots..

it would be a shame to buy 300$ worth of wheels to find out they dont work with the rails or extension kit you have :banghead: :banghead:

Maybe some one that is running factory rails or a rail extension with big wheels can jump in the conversation
and provide some help..

Try this: AXLE TO RUN 8".
