I got my 04 back together today, took the track out to stud it,new slides, check the skid over.

Took it out for a few lawn blasts, all seemed well until I stopped and shut it off, what do I see but anti-freeze on my running board.

Traced it back to the trunk area, had steam coming out when I opened it,pulled the seat off and found this broken hose clamp.

WTF,sled has 860 miles on it.

I'll be replacing all the clamps on it now, just glad it happened on a sunny day in the yard and not in the middle of east bumfuck somewhere.

Better than having your cooler break at the weld like my 440 did last year 22 miles from camp....it was a long tow back.
Too Slow
Looks like another version of my buddies 05 xcsp600 he bought used with identical mileage...except he had many major problems....turned out to be the sled from hell till he went through the whole thing himself. Polaris had a big parts warranty list on that one.

first off,NEVER EVER seen that style of clamp snap before,
>Looks like a ad on cooler,
calling it crap is funny, your the only one who,s every had a problem mention it on a forum

and as far as "to slow" like to see this warranty list, AH, thats what i thought.

I think you can put that problem into the "stuff happens" category. Out of the 3 truckloads of clamps like that Polaris probably goes through every model year, I'm sure there will be a few bad ones. I've seen screw clamps break too - results are similar.

You don't think polaris or any other manufacture is capable of building a lemon? it happens to the best of them. My buddy knows more about polaris sleds than many dealers...he has a good working relationship with our area dealer....they warranty parts for him all the time...he perfers to do the work himself....dealer gets the credit. His current sled had multiple failures after he purchased it slightly used from another owner. He rebuilt the motor...straightened out all the chassis alignment problems and fixed a couple leaks related to the chaincase and coolant system. Polaris took care of it...no questions.
