Hey Guys

I am getting ready to put in a Tracks USA 136'' kit after grass drag season is over.
I have a few questions:

What kind of stud pattern and studs are folks running on an 136'' 1 1/4 Ripsaw in an 04 XC 700 chassis?
What gearing with the extra track for aggressive trail riding? 1.9 ratio??
What size billet wheels can I use.....Size? All billet or billet with rubber?
Stock drivers?

Thanks

Brent

gearing on a 700~800 ..... Well if your a trail rider that has speed limits like I do here in newengland 1.80 ~1.90 works really good with a 1.25" ~1.5" tracks .I f you still want to keep up with your buddies on RX1's you better keep it around 1.75 ~1.82 , I am currently running 23/42 with my 136 x 1.25 studded ripsaw.

Studs? well that dependson what you like to do , I am a trail rider that want to stop on ice and be able to climb icy hills so I only have 108 studs. All up the middle in double backers with tall nuts . 90% of the guys out there will tell you that 108 studs with 140 hp will not stsnd up well thats not true , I break a few studs a year on rocks but zero track damage in 2000 miles.

one more thing if you go to billet wheels you MUST use the ones with rubber if they roll over studs , where I only stud the center of mine I can get away with full billet ones on the outside and you may fine the rubber needs to be replaced yearly........

I am strongly considering adding an extended track to my 2000 700 XC, so I have the same questions.
Also in your opinion which supplier has the best option and which track and lug works best all round, groomed and off trail.

Tracks usa has a good kit (tunnel and rail kits) strong !

as stated above for a trail rider 80% of the time an 20% off trail ripsaw works very good , if your off trail more maybe a taller ripsaw and if 40% on 60% off maybe six pitch would be better.
