I tried this subject in The summit zone, i have a SDI 1000 summit 2005 (like the mach Z i suppose). It has been reprogrammed in 2006 with the (I suppose ) 2006 programming....since then KABOUM.....ALL MY SPARK PLUGS SELF DESTROY....CHANGED TO BPR 8ES (I THINK) and a little better but if i idle more than a minute FINISHED ANOTHER PAIR OF PLUGS.....

Do i go back to the 2005 programming, wait for the 2007, or is there another solution..... :frech32:

all input would be apreciated....all reste of the sled is stock...

thanks inadvance... :div20:

There is another program comimg out this fall,it will address some of the issues involved with the rave valves,
I wouldn't think that it will help with your fouling plug issue, the 06.5 programing was for that>

I have had a 05 1000 for 2 years now and have never fouled a plug,But I was told by my dealer that once the sled is started to drive it right away and not to let it idle.

So basically start the sled and drive away slow 20-30mph or so till the heat gauge moves and then you can get all over it.

This sled also has a issue with rave valve adjustment so you may want to check into that as well,

I the sled doesn't have the decomp plugs installed you may want to have that done as well,as it adds about
4 hp.

hope some of this helps.
