I am putting a shorty seat on my 03 pro-x 700. I think the cable on the new seat is hitting the tank. anyone else have problems? Also if anyone has a cover to cover up the rear coolant hose that is exposed let me know or where i can get one.

cool thats what i thought what about drilling holes in the tunnel. will you miss the heat exchangers and how did you measure where to drill.

I cracked off a pencil and stuck it in the seat hole. Then pushed the seat where I wanted it and moved it around a bit to make some marks.

Ya i tried that but i couldnt get a pencil in the hole so i put the bolts in the seat and put a touch of grease on the head of the bolt and set that on the tunnel. it worked great.
