Hi guys and Girls (if there is here)!
Do you know about air medic, the ambulance helicopter ?
If something happens to you, they go and get you wherever you are in Quebec Trails.
Normally, it costs you around 25$ each...
BUT,
We quebec snomobilers, started a new and a non-profit-making association that aims to promote the practice of snowmobiling and the defence of the interests of the snowmobilers. AdmdQ defends and represents all the people who practice snowmobiling in the province of Quebec, whether it is on clubbed trails or off trail.
AND we have a PARTENERSHIP with Air Medic...
SO if you take your membership of OUR association, you GET Air Medic FREE
I took info and American and Ontarian can take the membership if they ride here for ) and get Air Medic FREE.
Here is where you can have the info:
www.admdq.org
You open the site, clicking on Bienvenue and after, you'll see in red, for english, click here.

The membership appears to be a good value: $18.00 canadian for a two year membership. One gets to support the interests of Quebec snowmobiling and receives a valuable service as an incentive to join. (I believe someone posted last season about an accident north of LaTugue that required the services of an air ambulance.)
Are satellite telephones available for rent?

That sounds like a great deal, I'm interested. However how would you call them if your in a remote area and out of cell phone service? A lot of areas I go through are quite remote with no cell service.

I'm with air Medic since 4 years, my husband had a big snowmobile accident between La Tuque and Quebec and the only way out was by helicopter :banghead: . he finally got up by himself :div20:
After that, I always took air medic for my family, cost me 60$ before admdq :fluffy: .
When cell don't pass, you have to get someone to a phone...
Its better than nothing...QUOTE

Belles Des Neiges, ADMDQ wont accept paypal. I did it for myself last week and it worked but I tried to do it for my buddy and it says there is a problem with their paypal account. Just wondering if it was going to be fixed or if it should just be mailed??
