I am thinking about buying one of these for my girlfriend and would like to know how it performs. I have a 06 600 sdi X and im wondering if it will be even with me or will it beat me? I dont want to get a sled for her that will be faster. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I've got an '03 600 Edge ... love it. Does it matter if it's faster ? Not trying to be negative, but it's all about set up and driver ... not HP. There both 600's they should be close in match anyway. I say go for it.

edit: could always gear the Edge down or "de-clutch" it ...

It all depends on the rider - - It's almost gauranteed that she wont take it to the limit. Not everyone's got it if you know what I mean. But anyway if your worried about it they'll probably be pretty close in speed. Get her a 500 if that'll make you feel better.

I would not get too worried. the Doo 600 set up properly is a runner. That is unless your woman can ride like hell. In that case get a 500. Some of those are hot too....Why don't YOU get a Polaris if you are worried?
