Im new to the forums, and i was interested in trading my dirtbike for a formula. The guy that is interested said that the sled is mint, has about 2700 miles on it, and has never touched cement. I am willing to ytade him but i have some questions. What is the top speed of the sled, and is it reliable. Also what are some needed modifacations for good riding? I was thinking plastic ski's but idk. Anyway i just would like to know the top end speed of the sled, and if this sounds like a good deal. He is asking 1600.

if it is the 95 listed in your sig that price is way hi. i just found a 96 xlt 600 for 1000 that had 3200 miles and was in awesome condition, even had a new track. so NO i would not buy that sled

I am selling a 96 Formula Z 583 with 5024 miles for $1500 myself. So $1600 is a little high for a 95, but it is a great first sled with a top speed of about 90 on the speedo. It's pretty nimble and handles decent. The suspension is the only flaw on the ski.... IMO.

i just saw a 94 in the paper for $600. I hear that engine is rock solid.

come to find out he brought it over and it was a 94, and he wanted money too. I said no and he just left...lol

polaris's are a dime a dozen. Why are u so worried about top speed? so u know how fast you'll hit that tree!? i bought one that needs some work. seat, stator and some other things for $600 this is a 1995.
