I have a 2001 Arctic Cat ZR 800 and I'm looking to install a 2" riser block.
It looks like I have extra cable to install, except for the brake fluid line. Has anybody installed one or any suggestions?

2" power madd on this '01 ZR. No worries, plenty of slack. Might have to cut some zip ties.

I think I had a 4 inch on my 98 ZRE 440 and a 3 inch on my 98 ZR 600 and no problem with either one.

my brother put a 2" riser on his zr 800 2001, he had just enough cable.

No extensions needed... Cannot go any higher than 2-3" w/out extending cables/wires.

This is a 2000 ZR 600 by the way.

That do not look safe!, one good jolt and those bolts are bye bye! get a block in there. im going with the black magic black anodized 2 inch block, no problems .....

i made my own +1.5" blocks on my firecat and had to readjust the cable.

My 02 ZL SS has the exact same handlebar setup as your 01, and I had plenty of cable to add 2" risers. I bought the articulating risers, which I like much better than regular risers, because regular risers move the bars closer to you as well as higher. With the articulating risers, I was able to keep the bars just as far forward as stock, but go 2" higher. Actually, I've got them farther forward than stock now, and I couldn't be happier. imo.gif
