A couple of weeks ago, I asked you guys for help in finding me a new ZR900 ('04,'05,'06). I greatly appreciated all of the posts and PM's helping me find a new sled. As of yesterday, I am the proud owner of not one, but 2 new Big Bores. I searched the region and found the best following prices on new units:
2006 ZR900's $7000.00 (very hard to find- very few out there left new)
2005 ZR900's $6400.00 (many available- SP, carb, or EFI)
2004 ZR900's $6000.00 (a few out there. found only one EFI in green- w/ all updates)
One of you guys PM'd me with info on Country Cat in Sauk Centre, MN. I ended up buying one ZR900 there. They were great folks. I was very impressed. It was a unit that is at the factory, and they are bringing it back with about 30 other sleds from Thief River on Monday.
On another lead from you guys, I chased down a brand new 2003 ZL800 EFI ESR SS at Spicer Marine in Spicer, MN. Again, nice guys. I ended up making an offer on that sled and purchasing it for $5400.00. My girlfriend will be riding that sled. I could not believe they were still sitting on a new 2003 ZL800.
So, once again, thank you to all of you guys that gave me advice and leads. I am pleased to be back among the ZR faithful after my aweful experience with the new Polaris 700. :banana:
