I bought the front end kit a few years ago.No instructions with that either. Had to call boivin directly. The flat plate goes in the front of the trailing arm, the plate with the hook goes inside the trailing arm where the radius rods are. the hook goes around the rear side of the upper radius rod, the bushing goes where the lower radius rod used to go, the lower radius rod gets remounted in the new location at the bottom of both plates. confused you more didn't I.

p.s.
i have a extra set of the front plates if anyone is interested.

does adding this kit lose your font suspensoin travel because it also lowers it 1 inch. This helps to lower your COG but I want to be abel to have sas much travel as possible for jmping and stuff. I have always wondered this but never asked but now i dont care because i might be a little :burp:

This is to relocate the handlebars further aft. (This was before the "Rider Forward" hype started)

The front end kit.

Pro's
Much flatter cornering on sweeping WELL groomed trails.
Less inside ski lift.

Con's
Makes sled front end ride like it has tractor trail springs up front.
Stutter bumps rattle your teeth loose.
Cornering on a sweeper that is rutted usually makes the sled bounce into a tree.
Front end is lower and never comes up to full travel eaissly, its almost like being limited by a chain.
No more mogul mashing, you'll be afraid of breaking the ft. end off.

Myself and 2 buddies fell for it back in 03, put them on the sled during the week, rode sat and sun, took them off mon.
So save your money.

As far as any parts for the rear I never tried anything. You don't need any extra parts back there, the edge has every thing you need to make it work.

If you don't like the way the rear works I can give you a nice setup. Shocks/ springs. Also Michahicks has some good ideas and he's also like you and tips the scale pretty good, so I believe he has it worked out for the heavier personal.

Roger are you going 121 or 136 I forgot.

Actually the plate that moves the hani's forward is the best thing in the world.
I make my own, move handi's 3'' forward and 4-5 '' up.

I also move the seat forward 4-5'' and up 6''.
Nobody that rides my sled ever wants to get of. It saves your knees, gets your elbow up. Makes you get off the seat easier. Takes the fatigue out of riding the edge low rider position.

136 Al..

I bought the front end kit last season.. and they sent me the full kit..

<<<and they sent me the full kit.. >>>

Not surprising. They can't sell them......
Too Slow
I used their kit on earlier edges...made a noticable difference cornering....didn't think the rear section for coupling was worth anything. I liked the handle bar relocation better also. Seemed polaris must of addressed these faults except for the handlebars....both my last edge and especially this one handled and ride better than ones before.

I'm using the front end only, i really like it. yes it lowers the front end...so you have to be very careful going over stuff and off trail adventures... bent a lower arm last year. but the sled doesn't lift a ski, front end very planted...i'm keeping it on
