If it has clicker shocks and a 1 1/4" track I would pay up to 6200~6400 for that , if it doesnt have these options and its just xc 600 maybe 5800 tops. I am sure you guy in the mid west can get it cheaper but back east we cant get the deals like that.
I rode a 2005 xc 600 with the 50th package (clickers and a 1.25" track) at the snow show , its a far better sled then a standard xc for someone that rides hard ! If your into trail cruising the standard xc maybe a better sled for you.

The 600 50th xcsp is a great sled...it will make an average rider better. It can be tuned to gobble up any trail at whatever speeds your comfortable riding at without beating up the guy riding it. :div20:

Sounds like a mid west deal...... Maybe? I dont see how you can get a xc 8 that two years old but new for less then 6500 around the east coast! Dealer clearance around my place is doing a blow out price of 7950 on a 2006 f7 snow pro, they where 9700 list price.... I cant see them taking 2500 more off that price. If I recall in 05 the xc 800 was 9200 list ?

It's a "midwest" thing for sure, not much snow for 4 years in a row. More sellers than buyers. Dealers are dumping them, many mave '02 and '03 models left. The dealer we bought from sold us the sleds cheap early in the summer, they will not deal as well this close to the winter season starting. They do have an '05 600 50th aniversary for $5,499 right now, just for referance. Usually the 500 and 600's clear out first and only 700 and 800's are left, and that is why we found good deals on them. They still have '03 700 and 800's left for between $4,999 and $5,349 new, and one 700 demo for $3,999. And John, the '02 700 was new, still in the crate, but will be set up by the dealer, for $3999, +tax and license. The bad thing is, we damn near have to give our clean used sleds away, just to sell them.
I have heard of people buying them and shipping them out west because of the prices here. Good luck.
