Just installed SLP's torque and push arms and now need to re-install the clutch. Anybody know the torque spec?

i should ad that it would be a good idea to have the clutch touched up by a light dressing on a clutch reaming tool, and to hit the shaft with a little emery paper before re-installing it. ( as per TSB )

it will do wonders to lower the vibrations. Also after that, run the sled for 5 minutes after the clutch is on, and re-check your torque on that bolt!!

would your dealer actualy charge you for this one-minute touch-up?
I bet it would be a real easy item to make if you had a friend that worked in a metal shop. it shouldn't be that hard to figure the taper from the crank shaft. and add a simple cutter edge on it.

or even possible use valve lapping compound directly on the crank.

Hmmm, maybe I'll try that tonight? Just pull the clutch, add lapping compound the the bore and spin it on the shaft lightly. I bet that would be better that a touch-up on the reamer!!!!! Then clean it up real nice and re-install.

anyone try it? Any reason not to try it?
