Picked up a carryover 06 600 HO this week, can't wait for snow!
I read quite a few reviews, and comments on HCS last winter and decided it was the sled for me.
You guys who've rode them for a year feel free to give suggestions/comments.

I'm on a 900 that I got late last season, but for the 3 days I got to ride it, It Rocks!!!
it replaced a 2005 Fusion that was not such a good sled!! (I wont go into that 2-season nightmare)
Go over to the Fusion board and look at what those guys have been doing to theirs, You might need some different weights in the clutch, and to go down on the primary jets. Some have had problems holding RPM's.
Suspension and handling wise, you love it!!! it does take a bit of effort to turn them though. you wont even notice it is a longtracker becuase of the curved rails!!
I absolutely love mine!!!

YEP, for whatever reason that tractor had a 2'' ball on it at the time, and it was in the same shed as the sled trailer. So I just used that to back the trailer under my pickup so I could unload the sled.

Congrats on your pick up. I don't think you will be disappointed. I put about 1700 miles on mine. Most fun I've ever had on a sled by far. It really doesn't give up a thing on the trail to a shorty and the off trail deep snow ability opened up a whole new dimension to sledding to me. Sled really shines when you get off the beaten path and start looking for the pow. Can be a little hard steering in certain conditions but no big deal to me. I haven't messed with mine much as I haven't felt a need. If you dig deep enough in here, you should find some things some guys have tried.

Sweet, Yeah if any of you guys in the FM area want to ride start a post in the switchback postings. Or we all could meet at one of the sleding sundays this year for Clay County Trail Blazers snowmobile club.
